UMASS Lowell Recreation Center
The 65,000 GSF steel-framed building is constructed of composite concrete and steel deck slabs supported on steel beams at the second floor. The gymnasium roof and the fitness center roof are framed with long span exposed steel trusses with steel purlins and acoustic roof deck. The remaining flat roof area is covered with three inch deep roof deck on steel beams and girders. The lateral loads are resisted by a combination of reinforced masonry shear walls and steel braced frames. An independently supported cast-in-place reinforced concrete firewall separates the gymnsium and fitness areas.
Bridgewater State College New Field House
The floors are supported with steel beams and columns, with concrete on steel deck forming the slab at the second floor and the mechanical penthouse area of the roof. The gymnasium is framed with long-span exposed steel trusses, which also support the suspended jogging track. Steel bracing provides lateral support. Exterior cladding consists of metal panel system at the gymnasium, some brick in the office/classroom areas, and glass at the fitness center.
Groton School Recreation and Athletic Center
The Student Recreation and Athletic Center at the Groton School comprises 150,000 square feet of new and renovated space and includes an ice rink, a swimming pool, squash courts, a fitness center, locker rooms, and a gymnasium with elevated running track.

RPI Fitness Center
The 32,000 square foot Mueller Fitness Center abuts the historic armory and is located near the gateway to the RPI Campus.
The two-story building has floors constructed of composite steel deck and concrete and is laterally supported by braced frames. The new addition is supported on spread footings.
