The Student Recreation and Athletic Center at the Groton School comprises 150,000 square feet of new and renovated space and includes an ice rink, a swimming pool, squash courts, a fitness center, locker rooms, and a gymnasium with elevated running track.

RPI Fitness Center
RPI Fitness Center

The 32,000 square foot Mueller Fitness Center abuts the historic armory and is located near the gateway to the RPI Campus.

The two-story building has floors constructed of composite steel deck and concrete and is laterally supported by braced frames. The new addition is supported on spread footings.
