MBTA Government Center Station
MBTA Government Center Station
Located in the heart of Downtown Boston, the new head house for the Government Center Station is an elegant addition to the area.

The main building features tall curtain walls with glass ceilings. The lobby roof has thin overhanging eaves. The steel-framed structure is supported by the tunnel structures below.

Black Falcon Cruise Terminal Renovation
The former World War I military warehouse in South Boston received signification renovations, including 3 times more usable space.

The 3-story building now has over 90,000 SF of usable area, along with new escalators and elevators. Many old metal doors on the third floor were replaced with large windows.

MBTA Charles-MGH Station
MBTA Charles-MGH Station
Charles/MGH is a historic subway station in Boston. It is an elevated station located in the middle of a busy street intersection. In 2004, work began on major renovations to meet ADA standards of accessibility.

The old station, including the pedestrian bridges, was completely demolished except for the platforms. The new station has a new two-level headhouse located to the south and in the middle of a redesigned intersection. Entrance and fare collection are located at ground level and passengers are taken up to two new transition platforms by escalators, one on each side of the track.

MBTA Arlington Street Station
Located in Boston's Back Bay, the station was originally constructed in 1921. It has been reconfigured to provide a fully accessible station to the public.

New ADA compliant elevators provide access to the platform level, and new entrance stairways have been added. At the platform level, structural columns were shifted to assure clear wheelchair access to subway train doors.

T.F. Green Airport Terminal Expansion and Modernization
Structural addition and construction administration of the expansion and modernization of T.F. Green Airport in Providence, RI. The addition structure is 85,000 GSF, and the renovation area is 30,000 GSF.

Hyannis Intermodal Transportation Center
This facility is the new hub for Cape Cod travel integrating regional public transportation modes.

The structural system is a glu-laminated timber frame, with pine wood decking in the open public spaces and a steel frame in the administrative space. Most steel connections for the wood frame are exposed and required careful detailing in coordination with the architect to achieve the joint appearance.
